Here's the perfect opportunity to get together with old friends and new people and try something completely different. This is not a race. It's a group run about 5km in length through the fabulous trails of Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest at night! Whether you want to do it as your clinic homework no matter what program you're in, or you just want to go for a moonlight stroll, put on your walking or running booties... grab your headlamp or flashlight and come on down to the Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest parking lot off of 24th Avenue and 146 Street. Start time 7:30pm.

The cost of each event is a non-perishable item going to the Surrey Food Bank. If you happen to forget, bring extra the next time. The run is open to all ages and abilities from walkers to experienced runners and it's all for fun. The trail will be 2 X 2.4km loops of the Chickadee Trail with flour arrows and surveyor's tape to mark the route.
Run dates are Thursdays—Oct 22, Nov 12, Nov 26, Dec 3, Dec 17 at 7:30pm
Each race is an approximately measured 2.4-kilometre loop and we will be calling out times per loop using the most accurate hand-held timing device available. We highly anticipate a massive field of 10-20 participants each event, therefore it's very low-key and "racing flats" will not be necessary. All proceeds go to support the SURREY FOOD BANK so please bring a non-perishable food item as your entry fee and come on down and enjoy the run.
NOTE: There is always a chance that somebody may go off trail if they miss one of the markings so please bring a light and if you're prone to get lost... bring a whistle!
