Feedback from a happy clinic participant

Oct 20/08: "How nice of you to congratulate me. I feel very good about finishing the beginner clinic, finishing the race, and coming in faster than my entry application time.

I want to compliment everyone in the Peninsula Runners' clinic for his or her support, excellent coaching and enthusiasm. Special praise to both Michelle for getting me started; and, to Heather for helping me achieve my goal of finishing the beginners running clinic without an injury. I started running at one of your competitor's clinics and was very disappointed in their program. When comparing your program with theirs, your clinic program is far superior. It is well organized, starts on time, varied, fun and educational. All of your run leaders show a genuine interest in each participant and encourage each person to attain their very best.

Of special note, my husband is most impressed that you could encourage me to get up early each Sunday morning to run. I am not really a morning person and have always relished my Sunday morning opportunities to sleep in. He was, rather is, totally amazed that I got up on my own without being coaxed!

I plan to attend the Wednesday drop-ins and will be signing up in January for the next clinic level—I am hooked!"
