The Story of Peninsula Runners Victoria
Peninsula Runners Victoria opened in April of 2004, becoming the third in a series of stores by the same name. White Rock and Walnut Grove (Langley) have set a tradition of fantastic service on the mainland and the owners of the Victoria store are striving to carry on the same attention to detail on the island.
Owner Paul Williams and running pal Dave Milne got talking (on the golf course of all places) about expanding to Victoria. They felt that the population of the island coupled with the active lifestyle most islanders lead meant that it was time for another running store in the capital region.
Peninsula Runners' slogan says it all: "We Fit Feet". We pride ourselves in being able to put runners and walkers alike in the proper shoe for their needs. Of course, we also stock all of the accessories and apparel to make that next run or walk go smoothly. So come on down to Shelbourne Plaza, say hi to Dave and the rest of our friendly staff and let us help you with all of your athletic needs.
