Let us help you accomplish your running goals. When does the next clinic start?The first session starts on June 3rd, 2009 at 6:15pm; following weeks will be at 6:30pm. Your registration includes Wednesday night workouts at 6:30pm, which are a great addition for developing your running skills. We also accommodate a Sunday morning long run which meets at 9:00am. During this clinic we will be moving the Sunday run locations around. Locations will be posted on this website. How far should I be able to run before joining the marathon program?New Athletes should have completed a half marathon in the past several months and should be able to run for an hour and half. Veteran marathons should be in reasonable enough shape to start this fast paced, personal best oriented clinic. How long is the program?The program is 19 weeks and will expertly prepare you for the Royal Victoria Marathon, or any other marathon close to that date. Got one in mind? Just let our expert coach know and they will do their best to accommodate for that. How much will it cost and where do we run from?$139.99 plus tax and we pretty much always leave from Peninsula Runners. If there is a change, your coach will let you know via group mailing list.
Marathon — Transition (starts June 3rd)42.2km is an intimidating distance for anyone, even those with a strong running background. This training program is designed for experienced runners making that first transition into the marathon distance, with safety and motivation the being the key ingredients (along with a heaping portion of hard work and perseverance). Marathon — Advanced (starts June 3rd)Designed for experienced marathoners looking to improve performance over 42.2km and perhaps train to qualify for the Boston Marathon, our clinic has a proven track record of getting runners to their goal. The Expert CoachMyke LaBelle is a veteran runner who has been competing since he was probably 3 apples tall. Myke provides a nurturing environment for seasoned runners and beginners alike.
