When does the next one start??

Who can join the clinic? YOU!

Anyone with an interest in improving their fitness and learning more about the sport of running in a fun and social atmosphere is qualified to join. We offer three distinct programs which would suit novice to advanced runners. The 'learn to run' program offers a safe and gradual introduction to running. The Run programs incorporate more technical aspects of running and challenges individuals with anaerobic workouts. Within the running programs, workouts are modified to meet everyone's ability. The Walk program is based on the Run program, only with no running!

Why join a running program??

There are many reasons for starting any exercise program. Some want to relieve stress or lose weight, and others just want to enjoy the outdoors in a social group. Our program design is specifically developed to assist individuals gain strength and running speed. At Peninsula Runners we work hard to provide a safe, informative, FUN, motivating, and rewarding clinic atmosphere.

How long is the program??

This 5k clinic program is 10 weeks long. It will prepare you to comfortably run or walk any 5k race. Try the PR Fort Langley 5k on July 18th!

How much will it cost and where do we run from??

The cost of this program is $75. This cost includes the 10 Tuesday night workouts with your coach and a 10% discount on all store purchases during the clinic, plus we're including your entry to the PR Fort Langley 5k. AND... we are also including a New Balance short sleeve shirt!! Hurry, sizes and quantities are limited and will be available on a 'first come first served' basis only.

We will also provide you with a training schedule that will help guide you through the program. Guest speakers, experienced coaches and fantastic routes will also help to inform, inspire & improve your running.

If you are interested in attending the Tuesday night clinic on a more casual basis, there is a drop in fee option of only $7 per night.

Most of the workouts will start and finish at our White Rock location. We may incorporate a local trail run or a 'field trip' to one of our 'not so local' parks! Our last night will be a competitive fun run followed by dinner and awards! Come find out why everyone in our clinic is having so much fun!

Fort Langley Half & 5km

The sixth annual Fort Langley Half & 5km takes place on July 18, 2010. This is a very enjoyable route on undulating country roads.
